Post (Mail) – module overview

The Post module is used to record shipments – incoming and outgoing mail (letters, parcels) with carrier, tracking number, subject, date, and status. You can filter by scope (All / Notified to me / My mail), year, type (incoming / outgoing), and status; add shipments, comments, and attachments, and use import/export.

Why record mail in the system

A single shipment register simplifies the overview of who received or sent what and the link to projects. Carrier support and status tracking (created, processing, delivered, etc.) give control over logistics.

What the module offers

  • Shipment list – table with search, filters (scope, year, type, status), sorting, pagination. Columns: carrier, subject, type (incoming/outgoing), status, project, created by, date. Click a row to open the detail.
  • Add shipment – select carrier, shipment class, type (incoming/outgoing), subject, description, tracking number, delivery date, etc. After saving the shipment appears in the list.
  • Shipment detail – card with all data, history, comments, attachments; edit, “notified to me” flag.
  • Import and export – import shipments from file (per carrier template), export list to file.

Accessing the module

In the sidebar menu, select Post. The submenu offers: Mail overview, Add mail, Export shipments, Import shipments. If the module is not in the menu, check the Post module license.
