Contract supplements

A supplement (amendment) is a change or addition to the main contract – it is stored as a separate record with its own number and validity but linked to the “parent” contract. Supplement amounts are included in the contract detail in the total amount (including supplements) and in the fulfillment calculation.

Where to add a supplement

In the contract detail, in the Supplements tab, click Add supplement. A form opens (same as for a new contract) with the parent contract pre-selected – enter the supplement number, subject, validity from–to and optionally amounts. After saving, the supplement appears in the Supplements tab and in the main contract detail you will see the updated total including supplements.

Display in list and detail

  • In the contract list you can use the Parent contracts only filter to hide supplements and show only parent contracts; the main contract shows the number of supplements (badge +N).
  • Clicking a supplement in the Supplements tab opens its detail. At the top of the supplement detail an info line says “This is a supplement to contract: [main contract number]” with a link to the main contract.

Editing and attachments

You can edit a supplement and add attachments to it the same way as for the main contract. Economic data and fulfillment are calculated in the context of the main contract (sum of main contract and all supplements).
