Contracts – module overview¶
The Contracts module is used to manage contracts with business partners – contracts for work, purchase, lease, mandate, framework, or other types. You record contract number, subject, party (from the address book), validity, amounts, payment method, and link to projects. You can add amendments, attachments (original or signed scan), notes, and track fulfillment (related invoices and orders). Everything in one place with an overview by status and filters.
Why keep contracts in the system¶
A single contract register simplifies the overview of validity periods, partners, and projects. In the detail you see linked incoming invoices and orders and the progress of fulfillment (spend vs. contract amount). Depending on permissions, you see only contracts you are responsible for or all contracts (module administrator).
What the module offers¶
- Contract list – overview with search by number, subject, or partner, filters by type, status, project, validity (from–to), and display of active / deleted / all. Sorting and pagination. Click a row to open the detail.
- Add and edit contract – new contract or update via form: contract number, type (work, purchase, lease, mandate, framework, other), subject, party (from address book), project, responsible person, signature date, validity from–to, amount ex. VAT / with VAT, currency, payment type, cost type, etc. Option to upload the original contract or a signed scan.
- Contract detail – card with basic data, party, responsible person, tabs Overview (attachments), Supplements, Invoices, Orders, Notes section, and sidebar (actions, fulfillment, economic data). In the detail you can add a supplement, upload a signed scan, download attachments, or edit the contract.
- Supplements – to a main contract you can create a supplement (separate record with its own number and validity), shown in the detail in the Supplements tab.
Accessing the module¶
In the sidebar menu, select Contracts. If the module is not in the menu, check in Settings or with your administrator that your tenant has the Contracts module license enabled.
