Shift planning¶
Attendance → Shift planning defines who should work when. The plan drives the daily working-time fund, overtime and the window in which absences are counted.
Without any plan a standard day applies: Monday to Friday, start from settings (08:00 by default), length = weekly hours from the profile / 5.
Shifts¶
On the Shifts tab HR defines shift templates: name and code (Morning M, Night N…), start and end (end before start = ends the next day), break in minutes and colour. Shift fund = length – break. A shift in use cannot be deleted – it is deactivated instead.
Schedule and rotation¶
The calendar icon next to an employee opens Schedule / rotation:
- Weekly schedule – a shift or day off for each day Mon–Sun.
- Rotation – an N-day cycle (e.g. 8 days: D, D, N, N, off ×4). Day 1 of the cycle is the valid from date.
- Schedules have a valid from date, so changes never rewrite the past.
Shift plan (month)¶
The Shift plan tab shows the month for everybody you can see: shift code, "•" = standard day, "–" = day off, "Sv" = holiday. A green dot next to the name means the employee is at work now.
- Pick a shift, Day off or From schedule in the toolbar.
- Click days in the employee's row.
Manually changed days have an orange frame and override the schedule. A public holiday has a fund of 0 and time worked counts as holiday work. HR and managers (for their team) can edit the plan; days in an approved month are locked.
